I have a career spanning more than a decade.
People think they know me, they know very little.
Long story short:
I’m a kid from small-town Alaska that bought a one-way ticket to the UK and started singing opera on the sidewalks of London.
Before the age of 22 I had been to more than 30 countries .
I’m a busker turned comedian who cut my teeth performing for unimpressed Brits and smokey Bosnian Sevdah bars.
Singing on the street and touring stand-up around the world offered me a rare glimpse into the innermost workings of human beings.
During the pandemic I went viral on TikTok and skyrocketed to notoriety. After lockdown ended, I returned from the U.K. to the States.
I’m queer, I’m here, and a lot of people seem to think I’m British
I’m many things. The only thing I will never be is: boring.

Yes, I’m a comedian. But I’m also sobered by our collective numbness.
“Resensitizing” is the word I’ve used to describe my process of learning, re-learning, and getting acquainted with the world around me.
I really hoped I wasn’t alone in my love of learning. It made sense to create a way for others to join the conversation — and that’s how “Resensitizing” the podcast was born.
